Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani Starrer To Go On Floors In November, Will Be Filmed In Chandigarh

With the shoots of films resuming slowly but steadily in Bollywood and other film industries, stars are going to be super busy. Several stars and have over 3-4 films lined up for release and while the lockdown gave them the much-needed rest, now things are going to get super hectic. Take Varun Dhawan for example. The actor might have been unwinding in the Maldives for a while now, but will now be preparing for four back to back shoots from November.

Varun will kick-start the shoot of Good Newwz director Raj Mehta's comedy film in November which will also star Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh. The news of the actor signing the film had been doing the rounds some months back and he would end the lockdown hiatus with this one. According to a source quoted by Mirror, "The film is tentatively titled Jug Jug Jiyo and is a dramedy that revolves around the lives of two couples of different generations, played by Varun and Kiara, Anil and Neetu. The situational comedy, spun around a North Indian family promises to be a riot, with the older couple’s strained relationship bringing lots of laughs."

The film will be shot in Chandigarh, Mumbai and a foreign location, since Varun plays a NRI character. The actor will then shoot for Amar Kaushik's Bhediya, followed by Sanki and then Andhadhun director Sriram Raghavan's Amar Khetarpal biopic, Ekkis!
