Varun Dhawan Shares A Post For The Female Porters Of Indian Railways, Writes 'Yeh Hain Coolie No. 1'

Varun Dhawan is collaborating with his father David Dhawan for the third time with the remake of Coolie No. 1. The shoot of the film wrapped up just a few days ago and Varun has been sharing several special moments from the sets with his fans on social media.

Today the actor shared post by the Ministry of Railways saluting the female coolies working at the stations and wrote, "Yeh hain #coolieno1." 

The film will be a reboot and not a remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor’s 90’s blockbuster which was also directed by David Dhawan, but the pressure of recreating the success with this one is certainly immense. The king of comedy Govinda was also rumoured to be making a cameo in the movie but recent reports suggest that might not happen.

Varun’s previous two films Kalank and Street Dancer 3D failed to perform well at the Bollywood box office and definitely tampered with his shinny track record of giving no flops.

Coolie No. 1 also stars Sara Ali Khan who also registered a flop recently with Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal that released on Valentine’s Day and also starred Kartik Aaryan. Hopefully, this one will give the two young stars a hit after a dull phase.

Coolie No. 1 is all set to release in theatres on 1 May, 2020.
