Varun Sharma's Reaction On Working With Janhvi Kapoor In Roohi Afzana: Maine Kaha Yeh Toh Full Desi Maamla Hai

Varun Sharma is undoubtedly one of the most talented and versatile actors of Bollywood. After carving a niche for himself with the hilarious character Choocha in the 2013 hit Fukrey, the actor went on to win hearts with his performance in films like Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Dilwale, Fukrey Returns and Chhichhore. Varun is now gearing up for his next release Roohi Afzana, in which he will share the big screen with Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Varun opened up about his experience of working with Janhvi and Raj and shared, “Shooting for Roohi Afzana, it just was fantabulous. I mean there’s some great energy on set and with Raj, as you all know, he’s a fantabulous actor. I mean as an actor he’s just phenomenally amazing and it’s my second venture with him. Bada mazza aaya humein and bada chilled tha, family waala maahaul tha. With Janhvi, again, it was so much fun. And that fun started happening right from the start when we met for the first time officially.” He continued to add, “Toh uske baad hum reading mein mile. Maine kaha yaar yeh toh full desi maamla hai, sab chilled hain yeh toh. Then we were on fire!”

The actor was also asked if Fukrey 3 is in the cards and much to our delight, he excitedly replied, “Soon! I’m keeping my fingers crossed. We all love the franchise, we all love Fukrey and we are as much excited as you guys are to start on with that. It’s in the writing space right now, it’s being written and hopefully super soon!”
