Veteran Filmmaker Basu Chatterjee Passes Away At The Age Of 93

One of the most cherished loved and admired filmmakers of Bollywood Basu Chatterjee breathed his last today. The Veteran was suffering from along time with old age-related problems.

Basu Chatterjee made absolutely delectable films like Chhoti Si Baat, Rajnigandha died on Thursday, 4^th June, ’20. He was 93 years old.

Ashoke Pandit, president of the Indian Film and Directors’ Association told PTI, "He passed away peacefully in his sleep in the morning. He wasn't keeping well for quite some time due to old age and died at his residence. It's a great loss to the film industry."

Pandit further stated that his last rites will be performed in the Santacruz crematorium. Some of his major successes are films like Baton Baton Mein, Rajanigandha, Chitchor, Piya Ka Ghar, Khatta Meetha and many more.
