Vicky Kaushal- Kiara Advani Begin Shoot For Shashank Khaitan's Mr. Lele? Here's What We Know

For quite some time, rumours about Shashank Khaitan reviving Mr. Lele had been doing the rounds. It had been announced almost two years back with Varun Dhawan in the lead, and the poster had piqued our interest. However, it was put in the back-burner. For the past few months, news of it being revived with Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani in the lead had been everywhere. And now, looks like the shoot for the film had begun.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani have begun the shoot of Mr. Lele. A source close to the development of the film told the portal, “Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal started shooting for the film last week in Mumbai. For now, they will be filming in the city and will then move to other locations depending on the Covid situation there.”

The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, who was also a part of the cast when Varun was playing the male lead. Interestingly, Kiara Advani was approached for the project and had initially walked out. She was replaced by Janhvi Kapoor. However, after both Varun and Janhvi backed out, she entered the project again. Mr. Lele will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
