Vicky Kaushal Kickstarts Second Schedule Of Sardar Udham Singh, Shares A Picture From The Golden Temple!

Vicky Kaushal is all geared up for back to back releases in 2020. After Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship was postponed to next year, Vicky would have no releases left this year, but would be having two confirmed releases next year with a host of other projects. And the shoot for one of these films have also started.

We are talking about Sardar Udham Singh, where Vicky will play the titular character. The first schedule is already complete and now the second schedule has started in Punjab and Vicky Kaushal shared the news with a picture. In the picture, we can see him in a crisp white kurta at the Golden Temple, seeking the blessings of the Almighty. Captioning the picture, the actor wrote,

Babaji, mehr bakshyo. ? #SardarUdhamSingh here we go!

Sardar Udham Singh was the revolutionary who assassinated Michael O' Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of the Punjab, in London. This assassination was to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. The film will be directed by Shoojit Sircar and will be the first collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and the director. The film is written by Riteish Shah and Shubhendu Bhattacharya and will be produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.

Apart from this, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship, Takht, Sam Maneckshaw biopic and Ashwathama while Shoojit Sircar is working with Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan for Gulaabo Sitaabo.
