Vicky Kaushal-Manushi Chillar's Next's Premise Developed From A Song Of Yash Chopra's Second Directorial? Read Details...

Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chillar's next have already made us super excited. The two would collaborate for the first time together for YRF's next, which will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. While we know that the film would be a comedy, we have no idea what the plot of the film would be! But that was until now. It seems like we finally have a clue about what the film might be based on.

If a report by Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then the plot of the film would be developed from a song from Yash Chopra's second directorial, Dharamputra. The song in question is 'Tu Hindu Banega Na Musalman Banega, Insaan Ki Aulaad Hai, Insaan Banega.' A source said, "It speaks of religious tolerance and how humanity is above all the religious but in a lighter way. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh… Everyone is a human, is the core message that the film wishes to give. The germ of its premise is inspired by Yash Chopra’s second directorial, the 1961 classic, Dharamputra. Victor developed the premise after being inspired by the iconic song, Tu Hindu Banega Na Musalman Banega, Insaan Ki Aulaad Hai, Insaan Banega.”

That's a dicey premise to have, especially when we are thinking of a comedy film. But with Vicky's craft, we are pretty sure it would be something brilliant. Don't you think? Let us know in the comments.
