Vicky Kaushal’s Father Sham Kaushal Shares Heartfelt Note On His Son Playing Sam Manekshaw!

Vicky Kaushal, who already had as many as 6 films in his kitty, has bagged yet another film. He will be seen playing Sam Bahadur aka Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw in his biopic. He would reunite with his Raazi director, Megha Gulzar, for this one and it would go on floors in 2021. The first look of Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw was revealed today  and he looks unrecognizable in it.

While all his fans have been rejoicing, his father and famous Bollywood action director Sham Kaushal took to Twitter to express his happiness. He shared a heartfelt  note on his son transforming into Sam Manekshaw for his next. The action director wrote:

“Post 1971 war victory & his other heroic fearless deeds Field Marshal Manek Shaw was my hero in Punjab during college days.I had never imagined that one day my son will play his role in a film. Gratitude & thanking God for His kindness.Thank u.”

Vicky Kaushal has his hands full in films for the next year as well. The actor would be seen in the first part of Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship this November and Sardar Udham Singh this October. He would also be a part of Takht that would release next year. Apart from that, he would team up with Uri director Aditya Dhar for Aswathama, with his Love Per Square Foot director Anand Tiwari for Ticket To Hollywood, where he would also reunite with his Masaan co-star Shweta Tripathi and might be a part of LOL: Land Of Lungi.
