Vijay Deverakonda Wears Super-Expensive ‘Chappals’ During His Meeting With Karan Johar, Know How Much They Cost!

Vijay Deverkonda of Arjun Reddy fame is gradually making it to the most favourite actors list of all and sundry. Being a south Indian actor, he is not just popular with his folks in his native, people all over India are going gaga over him courtesy his role in the film Arjun Reddy which was reprised by Shahid Kapoor in the latter’s Kabir Singh!

Recently Vijay’s photos were doing the rounds of the social media. These photos of him were clicked during his meet up with filmmaker Karan Johar. In the photos he is accompanied by actress Kiara Advani.

His pictures are going absolutely viral on the internet and what’s interesting is that more than his clothes, his footwear is garnering all the limelight. The fashion police were quick to spot it and now it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that it has become the talk of the town. In the photos, Vijay is seen wearing a pair of Chappals!

Yes, that’s right! But these are not your ordinary Chappals! They might look simple but they surely are not! The Chappals he was wearing were branded. Yes, they were Gucci chappals and reportedly they cost a bomb! They cost a massive Rs 45,000!!

Karan Johar is about the remake Vijay’s Dear Comrade and the rights have already been purchased. In fact, Karan was ready to shell out a hefty sum to get Vijay onboard but Vijay refused! According to reports, Karan Johar had offered Vijay a massive sum of Rs 40 Crores. Due to Vijay’s refusal, the hunt for an actor in the film is on in full swing! And as far the heroine is concerned, if reports are to be believed, Jahnvi Kapoor is being zeroed in on for the project. What’s funny is in one Koffee With Karan episode, Jahnvi revealed that he likes Vijay as an actor and is also quite fond of him as a person.

Whatever the case is, Karan Johar hasn’t yet confirmed whether the heroine of his project is indeed going to be Jahnvi or no. But it will surely be interesting to watch a Koffee with Karan episode with the two actors on the couch!
