Sometime back it was announced that Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif will be collaborating with South superstar Vijay Sethupathi in filmmaker Sriram Raghavan's next. Fans were super excited to see them together and eagerly waited for more details. The shoot was supposed to begin in April but the plans took an unexpected turn when Katrina contracted coronavirus during the dreadful second wave. While the actress recovered and tested negative over a week ago, the team could not begin shoot due to Maharashtra government’s latest guidelines.

In a recent chat with Spotboye, Vijay opened up about the same and shared that he does not know when the shoot will begin. He was quoted saying, “We were supposed to start shooting from April 15. But Katrina caught Corona. So, the shooting schedule has been called off. My web series with Raj-DK was also scheduled to begin from the end of May. I don’t know what will happen now.” The actor, who is currently shooting in South for other projects, went on to add, “We are taking utmost precaution here. In Mumbai, I don’t know what is happening.”

Other than Katrina, many other Bollywood celebrities tested positive for coronavirus in the last few weeks including her rumored beau Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali among others. Thankfully, many have now recovered.
