Vikrant Massey on shooting 14 Phere song Shor Sharaba: ‘We got to channel the baraati mood’

14 Phere won audiences’ hearts not only with its plot and performances but also with its music. The film, loaded with 2x the drama and 2x the entertainment, also has 2x the songs for every mood – from romantic and emotional songs to upbeat baraat and celebration songs. The latest song video release is of ‘Shor Sharaba’, an upbeat, fun and peppy song which surely adds to the ‘baraat’ mood.

Talking about the track, lead actor Vikrant Massey shares, “It was a blast shooting for ‘Shor Sharaba’ song as we got to channel the baraati mood and vibe and show off our dance moves. We even got to replicate popular Bollywood moves like Anil Kapoor’s patent Ram Lakhan step or the naagin dance. Since it’s a baraat song, the energy on set was infectious, and it felt more like a party than a shoot. I am hoping that the audience too enjoy the song as much as we enjoyed shooting it.”

Composed by Raajeev V Bhalla, penned by Shloke Lal and sung by Raajeev V Bhalla, Brijesh Shandilya, Rajnigandha Shekhawat, and Shloke Lal, ‘Shor Sharaba’ is picturised on Sanjay (played by Vikrant Massey) and his fake family as they become baraatis right before his second wedding to Aditi (played by Kriti Kharbanda).

Directed by Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kalwani, 14 Phere revolves around Sanjay Singh, a ‘Rajput’ from Bihar and Aditi Karwasra, a ‘Jat’ from Jaipur, and their love story, adventures, and misadventures. Loaded with drama and chaos of a typical Indian wedding but multiplied by two, 14 Phere is exclusively streaming on ZEE5.
