Releasing on 20^th January 2020, Panipat is a historical war film being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film will chronicle the great Third Battle of Panipat that was fought between Maratha forces under the leadership of Sada Shiv Rao and Afghan forces under Ahmed Shah Abdali. In the film, Arjun Kapoor would be playing the role of Rao while Sanjay Dutt will play the antagonist Ahmed Shah Abdali.
