When Ajay Devgn Admitted That Despite His On Screen Dare-Devilry He Was Petrified Of Getting His Ears Pierced

Ajay Devgn has never shied away from doing the most dangerous of stunts for his films over the years. In fact, he is prone to challenges since his debut in Bollywood where in Phool Aur Kante the actor aced a split on two bikes which became one of his most iconic stunts.

Even the most daring stars, however, have their own Achilles heel and for Ajay Devgn it was getting his ears pierced. In 2015, Ajay while directing his action extravaganza Shivaay decided to get his ears pierced which by his own admission he was tempted to do for 45 years of his life.

Talking about the experience Ajay admitted he was petrified when a piercing gun was pointed at his ear. In an interview with Times of India the Golmaal actor admitted “For 45 years, I have resisted the temptation to get my ears pierced. I have shown such dare-devilry on screen and I'm not afraid of anything. But I was petrified of this gun-piercing. However, now the deed is done.”

Ajay is not the only actor in Bollywood to get his ears pierced. Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have done it too, but Ajay’s admission was truly startling and ironic since when Shivaay released in 2016 we saw the actor do some heart-stopping stunts which looked way more dangerous than simple ear piercings.
