Yoddha: Disha Patani To Be Paired Opposite Shahid Kapoor In This Shashank Khaitan Film?

It has just been a day since some buzz about Yoddha has been doing the rounds. The action film would be helmed by Shashank Khaitain and he might team up with Shahid Kapoor for this one. Now, we are getting to hear that Disha Patani might play the female lead opposite Shahid.

A Mid Day report stated that the makers had narrated the script to Disha and she has also expressed interest in the film. A source was quoted saying, "Though the film is an actioner centred on the protagonist, the female lead has an interesting arc and is crucial to the narrative. Shashank, who is giving finishing touches to the script, recently sat down for a narration with Disha. The actor has expressed her interest in coming on board, but has yet to sign on the dotted line."

The film is likely to go on floors in February next year. If Disha too gives her nod, this would be the first time we would see Shahid and Disha share screen space. With Shashank Khaitan helming it, we can imagine how entertaining it would turn out to be. And Disha too can pull off action sequences with ease, isn't it? The film would be made under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions banner.
