The nation is waiting for Shahid Kapoor to return on the screens. He had delivered the biggest hit last year, Kabir Singh and after the blockbuster, is now busy with the shoot of Jersey remake. Now, we are getting to hear that he has already signed his next film, which will be directed by Shashank Khaitan.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Shahid Kapoor is all set to collaborate with Shashank Khaitan for his upcoming action film, Yoddha. A source was quoted saying, "Karan and Shahid were planning to do a film together for some time. But they weren't getting the right script. There was a major talk about Shahid stepping into the shoes of Brigadier Farookh Bulsara for a film based on Maldives Mission. But now, the producer has locked Shahid for Shashank Khaitan's next which is also an action film. It's titled Yoddha and Shahid has already signed on the dotted line for the same. The shoot is expected to begin sometime early next year after Shahid wraps up Jersey."
