YRF Defuses Rumours Of A Biopic On Yash Chopra With Shah Rukh Khan As The Lead

With Yash Raj Films’ celebrating its 50^th year anniversary the fans are waiting with baited breath for some big announcements. While there have been reports floating around the many big projects in the YRF pipeline, this morning news hit the headlines that YRF chief Aditya Chopra might also be planning a biopic on his father and legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra soon.

That’s not all the reports also claimed that Shah Rukh Khan is being considered to play the late filmmaker in the biopic. Renting to such reports YRF has now rubbished these rumours. YRF’s official spokesperson says, “This is a baseless rumour. There are absolutely no plans to make a biopic on Yash Chopra ji.”

While biopics maybe a great tribute to the legendary filmmaker whose contributions to Indian cinema are countless it not on the cards yet folks! Well, in the meantime fans can look forward to the announcement of projects including SRK’s comeback with an all out commercial entertainer Pathan where John Abraham will also join the superstar and also YRF’s first film with Ajay Devgn which is touted to be a superhero flick.

Apart from these Salman Khan’s third film of the Tiger franchise is also said to be a part of the announcements.
