Bigg Boss 14: Here’s Why Mastermind Vikas Gupta Won’t Enter The BB House As A Special Guest This Year

After the very successful 13^th season of his popular reality show, superstar and host Salman Khan is all set to return to our television screens with Bigg Boss 14 from 3^rd October. Well makers have many exciting surprises for fans and have already revealed which celebrities will be part of the show as special guests this year. The channel recently shared promos featuring ex contestants Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan talking about their winning strategies. However, there was one more name which was in the guest list but has been struck off last minute.

Season 11’s second runner up and mastermind Vikas Gupta entered the BB house as a guest for season 12 and returned as friend and contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s proxy for season 13. However, he will not be a part of the show in season 14. In a report shared by ETimes, a source was quoted saying, “It is a mystery why Vikas' name was struck off, more or less at the last minute. One wonders who did this to him and why. It was not in good taste, especially if you consider that his presence in the last 3 seasons- Season 11, 12 and 13- garnered good Trp.”

When Vikas was contacted about the same, he revealed, “Yes, I was approached for Bigg Boss 14 and I was game for it. Seems, they changed their mind. I am not going now. But it's okay.” Well this is definitely a shocker and fans will surely miss seeing the mastermind in the show this year.
