Bigg Boss 14: Nikki Does Not Regret Losing Briefcase With Rs 14 Lakh To Rakhi; Reveals Her True Intention

When Nikki Tamboli entered the Bigg Boss 14 house as a contestant, she became a favorite of the Toofani seniors. She went on to be the first confirmed housemate of the season and also became the first finalist. So it was obviously shocking when she pressed the buzzer to win the briefcase with Rs 14 Lakh. However, Rakhi Sawant beat Nikki and walked out of the race to finale, while Nikki went on to be a part of the top 3. However, the South actress does not regret losing to Rakhi.

In a chat with ETimes, Nikki explained that even when she was offered Rs 6 Lakh to leave the show during a task, she refused it as she wanted to stay in the show. So she did not regret losing Rs 14 Lakh. Nikki shared, “Bigg Boss has got me this far in my career and given me fame. I had thought of taking the bag if offered during the finale as from the show and game's point of view, the audience only remembers the winners and the contestants who have decided to take the cash and leave the show. But I am fine if it did not happen. I was never eyeing the cash, my intention was that people should remember me.”

She went on to share that she feels Rakhi needed the money more than her. Nikki added, “When I was offered the money during the grand finale, I was not sure if I would make it to the top three. Had I taken the money and opted out, I would never have never got to know that my fans were voting and fighting for me.” She feels reaching the top 3 was a big achievement for her and hence she does not regret losing to Rakhi.
