Bigg Boss 14 Weekend Ka Vaar: Salman Khan And Seniors Disappointed With Housemates’ Attitude Towards Tasks

Last night we got to see the second Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss season 14 and it was full of events! Host and superstar Salman Khan was in a chill mood but things didn’t take long to go downhill. Well, the episode began with reactions from the housemate! Every fresher was disappointed that Nikki Tamboli became the first confirmed contestant of the house and will now enjoy the same perks as the seniors. However, only Eijaz Khan is vocal about his feelings. He slams Nikki for not asking Sara Gurpal about her injured eye and also tells seniors that the South actress is not fit to lead, is inconsiderate and basically her attitude will get worse now.

Later Salman introduced the housemates to 3 special guests who connected with Bigg Boss via video call--Mumbai Indians players Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Ishan Kishan. They spoke to the celebrities and asked them fun questions about the house by using cricket terminology. The funniest was when Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla were asked who will run out the other first. Rubina was confused and left her fans in splits as always. Then came two other guests! Sarabjit and Meher of Choti Sarrdaarni entered the activity area and gave the seniors a special task. Hina, Sidharth and Gauahar were asked to talk about two freshers as products. The one who sounds less appealing gets punishment while the other receives luxury items.

Host Salman also gave the contestants a few fun tasks. The first was a report card which had to be filled by the seniors. They were given a few descriptions such as ‘Iss Mein Woh Baat Hi Nahi Hai’, ‘Disappointment’ and ‘Perfect For Bigg Boss’ and were asked to give the names of the freshers who fit into these categories. While Pavitra Punia got all three votes for ‘Perfect For Bigg Boss’, Sidharth and Hina chose Rubina as ‘Disappointment’. Up next came the ‘galatfaimi ke gubbare’. Contestants got a chance to burst the balloons of two of their housemates, whereas Nikki got to burst as many balloons as she liked. The celebs were later asked to go into the garden area and divide themselves into Poor, Below Average, Average, Good and Excellent.

This is when things started going downhill. Unlike the other seasons, in season 14 housemates were okay with being called ‘Poor’ and ‘Below Average’. They did not even fight to enter Good or Excellent. They voted and on the basis of majority went and stood in their given positions. Interestingly, not one celeb was given the tag of Excellent. This did not go down well with Salman and the seniors, who were shocked to see that the freshers easily accepted that they were sub-standard. Salman even mocked them for the light hearted way in which they carried the task out and asked all ten housemates, except confirmed contestant Nikki, to pack up their bags and leave instead of wasting time of the viewers. Well, this will hopefully give them a much-needed boost! In the end there will be just one winner and by the looks of it, right now none of them are even competing to win.
