Crime Patrol Actress Preksha Mehta Commits Suicide One Day After Posting A Cryptic Message

The COVID-19 outbreak left the entire world in shock. Two months ago a nationwide lockdown was declared to help stop the spread of the virus and while some citizens are at home spending time with their families, others are worrying about how things will change when the lockdown is over. Some are even concerned about their jobs and are not sure what strange turn their careers will take due to the economic turmoil in our country.

Crime Patrol actress Preksha Mehta was reportedly worried about the same when she shared her last message on social media before committing suicide. In her chilling cryptic post, she wrote: “सबसे बुरा होता है सपनों का मर जाना” (The worst thing is when your dreams die). Preksha, who moved to Mumbai 2 years ago, had returned home during the lockdown to be with her family. But she was worried that she would not find work after the quarantine period ends. Preksha eventually fell into depression and decided to end her life by hanging herself. Her father rushed her to the hospital when he found her, but she was declared brought dead.

Around two weeks ago, Aadat Se Majboor actor Manmeet Grewal hanged himself at his Mumbai home. He was going through a major financial crisis and his friend and producer Manjit Singh Rajput revealed that the pressure of not being able to repay loans amid the lockdown got to him.
