Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Karan Patel’s First Look As Mr Rishabh Bajaj Is Winning The Internet

A few days ago it was announced that Karan Singh Grover, who played the role of Mr Rishabh Bajaj, will no longer be a part of Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. While some rumors suggested that he wasn’t happy with his character anymore, other reports stated that he did not want to take any risks by resuming shoot amid the coronavirus pandemic. Well much to the delight of the audience, it was later revealed that Karan Patel will be the new Mr Bajaj in Anurag and Prerna’s life.

Karan played the character of Raman Kumar Bhalla, a doting father and loving husband, in Ekta’s show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein for almost 6 long years. He not only won hearts but also bagged the ZEE Gold Awards for Best Actor for 3 years in a row. Then why the sudden decision to take up a negative role? In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, the actor stated, “You can't hold on to a character for your whole life.” Well, we are super excited to see Karan shine on our TV screens again in this different avatar! Mr Bajaj will be joining forces with Prerna aka Erica Fernandes, who seeks revenge from her ex-lover Anurag Basu aka Parth Samthaan. Karan shared, “I am who I am because of them. As long as this love-love relationship continues, everything will be fine.”
