Parth Samthaan Admits There Were Moments Of Depression During Lockdown; Says It Gives Us Strength

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput bid the world a final adieu on 14th June. He was reportedly suffering from depression since the past few months and police found medical prescriptions for the same at his house. His untimely demise made most of our society realize that mental illnesses are not a myth and need to be talked about. Soon, many celebrities took to social media to share their stories, of how they too faced depression and what helped them fight back. The latest post was shared by Parth Samthaan.

Parth, who plays the role of Anurag Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, took to his social media handle last night to share a special post which is full of positivity! He thanked his loved ones, fans and friends who helped and influenced him to become a better and more positive person. Along with the post, he penned a caption which read: “Yes there were moments of depression and sadness during this lockdown, but that’s what gives us strength to be stronger and push ourselves so that one day when this pandemic is over .. We are Ready !!! To face this world againnnn !!!! #staypostive.”

It isn’t easy to come out and talk about feeling depressed openly. It takes a lot of courage and we are glad that so many celebrities are inspiring fans with their stories. Very recently, TV personality and Bigg Boss’ mastermind Vikas Gupta also shared a post revealing how he went through a similar situation as Sushant. Vikas also came out of the closet proudly and called out the people who made his life a living hell.
