Prince And Yuvika Reveal Why They Remained Tight-Lipped About Testing Positive For COVID-19 Before Dengue

A week ago, happily married couple Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary celebrated their second wedding anniversary. They had a low key celebration as they had recently been diagnosed with dengue. Sharing pictures on social media, Yuvika had written: “We did nt celebrate this time cos we are diagnosed with dengue. Thank god there is no carona. We will be fine in another few days blessed to hv u all.” Well, the couple has now confirmed that they had tested positive for novel coronavirus last month, but chose to remain tight-lipped about it.

Talking to ETimes about the same, Prince shared, “Look, COVID-19 did not give us too much trouble. We were totally asymptomatic. Now, we didn't want to put that we are fine in many ways because some people read actors, or for that matter anybody else, on social media, and blindly start following what they read. Bodies are different, individual cases are therefore different. We isolated ourselves for 21 days and then twice tested to make sure that we are negative before going out- but then, dengue struck.”

Prince shared that Yuvika and he are still in the hospital but they are much better now and hope to be discharged soon. The couple was admitted to the hospital along with Prince’s sister, father and nephew. We wish the family a speedy recovery.
