Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 Has Completed 2 Weeks And Here Is Everything Bizarre That Has Happened So Far

Kasautii Zindagii Kay opened to a lot of hype. The popular reboot of one of the most popular shows from 2000s made us all excited. To relive the tragic love story of Prerna and Anurag was something, but what made all even more excited was who would be cast as the Gen X characters and whether they would be able to live up to the original.

Well, whether the makers have been able to recreate the tragic love story (or complex love triangle) of Prerna- Anurag (and Mr. Bajaj who is yet to be introduced), a lot has already happened in just two weeks of the serial being aired! Now that Komolika is soon going to bring her fire and light it up in the show, let us have a quick recap of what happened in these two weeks:

1.  Prerna is all set to marry a ‘tharki buddha’

Prerna’s dad is neck deep in loan and Mohini, taking the advantage of the situation, suggested that if Prerna wants her father’s house and therefore his health intact, then she should agree to marry her ‘muh-bola’ bhai, Naveen, who is like twice her age! That’s not all, he is ‘tharki’ AF and Prerna just agreed to marry this creep, because well LOVE, for her father and her family of course!

2. Komolika has been introduced already.

Komolika, who was introduced much later in the original, has already been shown in the reboot. Well, strictly speaking, it is her back that has been seen so far. All we have seen are weird dresses that have mostly almost backless cholis so that you can very well see her tattooed back. What is even more nauseous is her chunk silver jewellery! Hina Khan frankly looks overdressed even by Komolika standards! Well, Komolika is now going to make a full-fledged entry into the show, unlike her late entry in the previous version!

3. Game Of Thrones Theme Music plays on when Mohini is tensed!

4. Prerna gives example of Saccha Pyaar while watching Half Girlfriend!

Yes, Prerna-Anurag and a group of their college friends go to watch, wait for it, Half-Girlfriend, to escape from a set of parents who do not want their daughter to marry the guy she loves. Well, putting the eloping thing on sidetrack, the main pointer here was, and I kid you not, Prerna takes a scene from the film and says "Yehi Hota Hai Saccha Pyaar"(That is true love). Need we say more?

5. Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja and Rose Day happened on consecutive days

Do not even go at the messed up timeline that the show has been showing. Firstly, Ganesh Chaturthi and Durga Navami were on the same day. Then college was open on Dusshera, that too in Kolkata apparently, and it was celebrated as Rose Day in college!
