Avinash Mishra Replaces Ritvik Arora As The New Kunal In Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke?

Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has just found itself a new Kunal and it's none other than TV actor Avinash Mishra. Avinash Mishra has replaced Ritvik Arora and will now play Kunal in the show.

According to a report in TOI, a source has said that several actors were approached for the role, however, finally Avinash was chosen to play the part. The source said, "A lot of actors, including Rohit Purohit and Abhishek Malik were approached for the part. However, the makers have finalised Avinash to play the new Kunal.” However, neither Avinash nor Rajan Shahi was available for comments.

This has happened after producer Rajan Shahi decided to chuck Ritvik Arora off due to his 'unprofessional behaviour'. He also said that the team was in a fix even before when Ritvik decided to cut-off communications and could not be reached; however, he was kept in the show when he returned and provided the team with a written apology. In his defense, the actor said that it was just a case of misunderstanding and he hopes to clear it out soon. He also said that he had been affected by the loss of his uncle, who had passed away recently.

Avinash Mishra was earlier seen in serials like Sethji, Ishqbaaz and Mariam Khan Reporting Live. He is best known for his portrayal of Shantanu Mazumdar in Yeh Teri Galiyaan.
