Avinash Mukherjee Bags The Lead Role In Sasural Simar Ka 2 After Balika Vadhu Co-Star Avika Gor's Original Season?

Another superhit show is all set to return to our TV screens with a second season. Reports suggest that makers of Dipika Kakkar and Avika Gor starrer Sasural Simar Ka are planning to bring the show back with a second season next month and are in the process of finalizing the cast.

Sasural Simar Ka had a massive following on Colors for 8 years before the show went off air. A Spotboye report now claims that Avika Gor’s Balika Vadhu co-star Avinash Mukherjee has been roped in as the lead for the new season.

Avika and Avinash won hearts as the young Jagiya and Anandi on Balika Vadhu before the actress finally moved on to play Roli on Sasural Simar Ka. While Avinash is yet to confirm his involvement with the new season it certainly sounds an interesting development.

The show went from being a family saga where two sisters from a humble background are married into the big Bharadwaj family to becoming supernatural drama years later. The show kicked off a whole meme fest when Dipika Kakkar’s Simar became a fly in one of the plot lines of the show.

Apart from Dipika and Avika the show also starred Sohaib Ibrahim, Manish Raisinghan, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Ashiesh Roy, Jayati Bhatia among others.
