BB14: Eijaz Khan Gets Candid About Not Returning, Says 'I Wanted To Be The Person Jo Bigg Boss Ki Lights Ko Switch Off Kare'

Eijaz Khan’s exit from Bigg Boss 14 was rather unexpected and highly disappointing for his fans. One of the numbered fresh faces on the season the actor himself didn’t expect that his journey would end so abruptly when he walked out of the show in January to honour work commitments. Eijaz was impatiently waiting to get back on the reality show and finish what he had started.

As the finale day has arrived the actor got candid about not being able head back to the show and once again his fans can blame Covid-19. Eijaz while talking to Times of India reveals that he was very disappointed when he couldn’t re-enter the show after wrapping up his work outside the Bigg Boss house on February 6.

He explained that he would have to complete his quarantine phase before returning leaving only a handful of days to the finale making his return pointless.  The actor expressing his disappointment said, “There were millions of supporters writing to me daily on social media to re-enter. Agar mere haath mein hota toh main darwaze ke aage tent laga ke baith jaata. I was feeling so disappointed. I am a producer's actor and so I knew their dillemma. They had built my brand, from the Bigg Boss show's perspective."

Eijaz definitely saw himself as one of the finalists had he now been ousted abruptly. “I really thought, with all humility, I deserved to be a Bigg Boss finalist! Agar mujhse ya kisi aur se bhi poocho, they all saw me as a finalist. I wanted to be the person jo Bigg Boss ki lights ko switch off kare. My heart really broke when I couldn't be one of the show finalists," he told.

The actor’s proxy Deevolena Bhattacharjee was evicted last week shutting off all doors to his return. Eijaz how hopes to see the contestants and Salman Khan one last time on the finale.
