Bigg Boss 14: Sidharth Shukla Gets Emotional Remembering His Father, Says 'Lucky Are Those People Who Have Both Parents Together'

Sidharth Shukla is a momma's boy and we had seen a glimpse of it in the last season of Bigg Boss. The mother-son duo bonding made us laugh and gave us goals. But the TV actor and last year's winner also shared a beautiful bond with his father, who had passed away when he had just started out as a model. And in yesterday's episode, we saw him remember the days with his father and get emotional about it.

Sidharth was talking to his fellow seniors Gauahar and Hina when he began reminiscing the old days as a kid. He remembered how his father would run with the school bag with him when he would get late in catching the bus and said, "I looked at him, with his hair flowing in the wind and thought ‘kya lagta hai ye admi, ye bhari bag leke full speed me mere se aage bhag raha hai’. He is so strong."

He also revealed that his father passed away because of lung complications and he lived because of his sheer willpower. Sidharth said, "Lucky are those people who have both parents together and can live life with them. When my dad passed away, I was modelling...Mera commercial jeb mein rakhte the...Alag aadmi tha, will power alag hi tha. Normally people live for two years, but he lived for seven years. He did not see me achieving all this.”

It was truly a rare emotional moment where his fans and audiences saw him open up about his personal life and his father. Indeed, lucky are those who are living with both their parents.
