EXCLUSIVE: Asha Negi opens up on casting couch experience, says 'it happened when I was very new'

Asha Negi has been in the industry for over a decade now. The actress had become a household name with her stint in Pavitra Rishta and has successfully ventured into OTT and made her Bollywood debut with Ludo. The actress will next be seen in Khwabon Ke Paridey, where she will play Bindiya. Now, in a recent interview with us, the actress opened up about their casting couch experience.

Talking to us, Asha Negi revealed, "This casting couch moment happened when I was very new- like when I had not even faced the camera. I don’t even remember this guy’s name also now. This was some guy who wanted to meet me and I clearly said that we should meet at a coffee shop. He wanted to brainwash me for, thinking that you know she is a small town girl and that he would be able to convince me quickly into this. But I’m so glad that I did not get scared and go back home, to my hometown. I very clearly told him what I had to tell him. So, yes, this has happened to me but only in the initial days and after that something of this sort has never happened."

We are glad that she fought her way out and did not bow down. We are proud about how far she has come.
