Shah Rukh Khan is well known in the film industry for arriving fashionably late to film sets and any event he’s invited to. Fortunately for him, the people around him are accustomed to this behaviour to the point that they have started expecting him to never arrive before a certain hour.

When Farah Khan and Juhi Chawla recently met on the sets of The Comedy Show, they got busy exchanging stories about Shah Rukh Khan’s infamous late arrivals. When Sanket Bhonsle asked Juhi and Farah to name one habit of the Bollywood star they did not like Farah revealed that while it is expected of Shah Rukh to be late, she hates it when he breaks consistency and arrives earlier than expected.

“We all know that when we have a 9 am call time, Shah Rukh will come at 2 pm, but that’s fine. However, when he suddenly comes in at 11 am, things go for a toss. Sab gadbad hojata hai and we have to then change things around. So, I feel late aa rahe ho, toh consistently late aao (If you are coming late, then be consistently late),” Farah said on the show according to a report.

Juhi Chawla who co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team with the star also had a story about Shah Rukh arriving at her house for a party when she had already gone to bed.

His co-star and business partner said, “During one party, I had called him, and everyone was excited that he was coming, especially my staff because they wanted to take pictures with him. I had told him to come by 11 pm, but he had mentioned that he would come slightly late. Eventually, he came after around 2.30 am, by the time the staff had left and I had slept. The food was also over, everyone had gone home and that's when he came.”

Farah Khan has delivered three box office hits with Shah Rukh Khan so far with Main Hoon Naa, Happy New Year, and Om Shanti Om. Juhi Chawla on the other hand has starred with the actor in many films including Duplicate, Yes Boss, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, One Two Ka Four, Darr, and few others.
