Gurmeet Chaudhary And Wife Debina Bonnerjee Test Positive For COVID-19, Are At Home Isolation

The spread of the novel coronavrius is not slowing down anytime soon in the nation. More and more people are getting affected by it and the virus has not spared anyone. The entertainment industry too has seen a spike in the cases after resumption of shoot and despite taking all necessary safety measures and precautions. Now, one of TV’s favourite couple- Gurmeet and Debina- have also been affedcted by it.

Taking to Twitter, Gurmeet shared the news with everyone. Both of them have been kept in home isolation. He wrote, “My wife Debina & I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. We are touch wood, doing fine and are taking all the necessary precautions, in isolation at home. We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care. Gurmeet recently finished shooting for a film called ‘The Wife’ in Jaipur. The shoot was halted due to the pandemic but resumed this month. He had also gone out for a road trip with wife. Debina too had been shooting for a TV serial. Earlier, Navina Bole and Priya Ahuja also tested positive for COVID-19. We are praying for their quick and speedy recovery.
