We had reported to you earlier Hina Khan would be hoisting the Indian flag in New York this year, The actress had shared the good news with all her fans and also said that she feels extremely proud to do it. We had been patiently waiting for her pictures and lo, it’s here.

The actress herself shared pictures from the event on her Instagram page. In the pictures, we can see the TV actress gleefully waving the flag at the 39^th India Day Parade In New York. She looks beautiful and resplendent. Captioning the picture, she wrote:

Representing your country is always a pleasure and if you get to do it in one of the most powerful countries of the world .. well , there can not be a privilege better than that !
Holding the tricolour for my beloved country.. I endorse the idea that India is in the U.S.A and the idea it represents, humbly appreciate the warmth and inclusiveness of the people and this great atmosphere.

Well, talking about the warmth and appreciation that Hina received in New York, she had told in an interview:

“Honestly, I was blown away. A lot of good things are happening whether it is this honour or the fact that I walked the Cannes red carpet. I am going to represent my country at the 73rd Independence Day celebration in New York. So, it feels great."
