I Gambled At A Goa Casino With 4K And Won 50K; Says Vaishali Thakkar

After being part of two major shows; Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and Sasural Simar Ka, actor Vaishali Thakker is now be part of the show, Super Sisters on Sony Sab produced by Optimistix. The actor talks about how it feels to be part of the project, how she got the role as well as other work that she wants to do.

Excerpts from the interview –

Shed some light on your Television roles -

I've been very fortunate to get all the big shows as of now. I began with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which gave me recognition and then the second big was Sasural Simar Ka which has established me as an actor on TV.

How did ‘Super Sisters’ happen? 

I got Super Sisters with just one audition. It was a Sunday afternoon and I got an urgent call from Optimystix, I reluctantly went but now I'm glad I did. I am so happy to work with another big producer, Vipul D Shah. He's great and yet so humble.

How is this different from your roles in Sasural Simar Ka and Yeh Rishta…’ 

My character in Super Sisters is completely different from what I played in Sasural Simar Ka. In that show I did not play the lead character. I was playing a rich daughter (Anjali) of one of the main leads. She was raised by the vamp in the show. Anjali had various extreme shades. On the contrary, in Super Sisters, I'm playing the main lead character, who is a well-educated village girl. She is the heart of the village that she lives in and also will be blessed by superpowers. In short, I'm playing a super girl! 

What are your hobbies? 

I don’t like anything other than partying! 

How do you unwind after hard day’s work? 

After a hard day’s work, I love to spend quality time with my friends. We have great food and call it a cheat day! 

What is that one fun experience you have had in the recent past that you would want to share?

I had a fun experience recently on a Sunday morning. I woke up at 10 and craved for some adventure. I called two of my best friends and we agreed to go on a road trip to Goa. It was midnight by the time we reached and also couldn't get a hotel immediately, so we ended up going to a casino. There the three of us played and lost a lot of money! The next day we were regretting this. But then, I felt like recovering this money at the casino. And believe or not, I just played with 4k and recovered around 50k. I was playing for all 3 of us!
