Kapil Sharma asks Udit Narayan if he's still able to roam about in a towel at home now that he has a daughter-in-law; See his reply

Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal graced the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show recently. While the promos of the show are already viral a recently released sneak peek has Kapil quizzing Udit Narayan about a past revelation made by his son Aditya Narayan where the latter said that his father prefers to roam about at home in a towel.

Kapil jokes that it must be difficult for him to roam around at home in a towel now that his son Aditya is married and he has his daughter-in-law at home. “Udit ji jab last time apne bête ke saath aaye they toh woh hume bata rahe they ki Udit ji to ghar pe kapde wapde pehente nahi, towel mein ghumte hein. Toh ab toh bahu aa gayi, badi taklif hoti hogi (When Udit ji was here the last time with his son, he told us that his father doesn’t like to wear clothes at home and roams about in a towel. So it must be difficult now that you have a daughter-in-law at home), ” Kapil says to the singer.

Udit replied, “Abhi bhi towel mein hi rehta hoon. Kisaan ka beta hoon, woh adaat to kabhi jayegi nahi (I still roam about in a towel. I am a farmer’s son, it’s a habit that will never go away).” Kumar Sanu who is also Udit’s close friend added, “Farmer ka beta hai, khet toh kabhi dekha nahi, towel dekh li (He’s a farmer’s son who has never seen a farm but has seen a towel),” making everyone laugh out loud.

Aditya Narayan married his girlfriend of many years Shweta Agarwal in an intimate wedding in December 2020.
