Kapil Sharma Not Keen On Resuming His Comedy Show Anytime Soon Reveals Bharti Singh Says, 'The Danger Is Still There'

As producers and actors make a planned move to resume shoots Kapil Sharma whose show on Sony is being missed by millions of fans might take some time return in forms Bharti Singh. While there have been several reports claiming that the shoot for the show might resume soon the comedian doesn’t yet feel safe getting on sets with the cast and crew.

Bharti Singh in a conversation with ETimes discussed everything that is holding the show from returning to TV. She says, “Kapil bhai (Sharma) is not very keen to start the shoot. He has requested to wait at least till June 30th because there is no point in starting the shoot now because the danger is still there. Nobody wants to risk the life of any staff member or anyone else. We have not been informed by the production house till now, but if they decide to start the shoot I will be the happiest.”

Besides the obvious danger of the pandemic, the show’s format of which guest celebrities and studio audience is a big part, might not be so easy to bring back. "In fact, the creatives are working on many things currently as our shoots have studio audiences but now with new guidelines it is not possible to shoot with them. Also, films are not releasing at the moment so even that is an area of concern.. Even the guests should be open to travel," Bharti added.

So till our beloved gang decides to return we might just have to make good with the re-runs of the show.
