Kapil Sharma once asked Raj Kundra about earning an income without working, the clip goes viral post businessman's arrest

Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on late Monday evening for his alleged involvement in a pornography case. As the news of his arrest hit headlines an old video from The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Raj, Shilpa and her sister Shamita Shetty has now gone viral.

The comedian had once asked Raj Kundra about his work and source of income on the show and the clip is now being used to troll him. Kapil had jokingly observed how Raj Kundra is often spotted in many places like shopping with Shilpa, football matches with stars, on flights and vacations. “Bina kuch kiye paisa kaise kamate ho aap (how do you manage to earn money without doing anything),” the comedian had asked Raj making his guests laugh out loud.

As the businessman has been named ‘key conspirator’ in a pornography related app case, the trolls are calling his arrest a rhetorical answer to the question asked by Kapil.

Raj Kundra had a medical examination at JJ hospital soon after his arrest. After a visit to the Mumbai Police Commissioner's office, Raj spent the night in the custody of the Crime Branch, Mumbai. He will be produced before the CMM court today.

A statement from the Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale, confirmed the arrest. “There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this,” the statement read.
