Mohit Raina files lawsuit against actress Sara Sharma and others for alleging his life is in danger like Sushant Singh Rajput

Actor Mohit Raina has filed a complaint against four of his self proclaimed well wishers for alleging on social media that his life is in danger. The four accused had allegedly started a social media campaign, ‘'Mohit Bachao’ and spread rumours that the actor will end his life.

The Devon Ke Dev Mahadev actor’s complaint was registered at the Goregaon Police Station under section 384 of the IPC on Sunday, 6 June following a court order. In the police complaint he names actress Sara Sharma and her friends Parveen Sharma, Aashiv Sharma, and Mithilesh Tiwari for spreading rumours about him.

Sara Sharma who is said to be an actress in the Telugu film industry said that Mohit’s life is in danger like late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who died in June last year. The four accused are facing charges under criminal conspiracy, threatening and demanding ransom, and providing misleading information to the police.

Mohit refused to share details on the case as it is sub-judice before the Bombay High Court. The actor has, however, recorded his statement with the police. "I confirm that I am currently embroiled in a legal battle. I have preferred a suit as well as an FIR in the said matter. However, since the matter is sub judice before the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay, I shall be unable to comment upon the details of said case. I thank you for your patience and support,” Mohit said according to an India Today report.
