Omung Kumar designed Bigg Boss 15 set art called out for showcasing ripped-off artwork of American artist

The luxurious Bigg Boss homes make headlines for their dramatic aesthetics every year and this year with Bigg Boss 15 it was no different. Designed by filmmaker and Omung Kumar and Vanita Omung Kumar, the Bigg Boss 15 set has however, been called out now by Diet Sabya, a popular Instagram account that often makes headlines for calling out copied designs and artwork.

Bigg Boss 15 makers have been criticized by the page particularly for a striking art piece in the living area of the house. It is an arching sculpture of a flamingo that has allegedly been ripped off from the work of an American artist, Matthew Mazzotta.

Diet Sabya shared a picture of Mazzott’s Rs. 3.9 crores worth sculpture alongside the Bigg Boss 15 version of the art and called the latter a ‘gandi copy’ of the original. The resemblance between the two art pieces cannot be denied and followers of the page chimed in to call out the makers of the controversial reality show for the blatant rip-off.

“The tilt of the legs and every thing is copied except for the excellence,” commented one user noting the similarities.  “Good lord! The original is in Tampa Florida at their International airport!!! How did Big Boss’s set designer think they’d get away with it and won’t be noticed??!! ??‍♀️ #bigboss15 thou “art” in very poor taste (pun intended)”, noted another user.

Bigg Boss 15 is following a jungle theme this year and the set is designed keeping that in mind.
