Shaheer Sheikh confirms wife Ruchikaa Kapoor's pregnancy with his latest post, writes 'Happiness is home made'

Shaheer Sheikh and wife Ruchika Kapoor are going to be parents soon. The couple that tied the knot in a low key wedding last year will soon welcome their first born and while Ruchikaa’s pregnancy was only speculated so far, Shaheer confirmed the same with his latest post on social media.

The Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aiese Bhi actor shared a photo with their family and Ruchikaa standing beside him can be seen flaunting her baby bump. He captioned the post, “Happiness is home made.. #betterTogether”

Ruchikaa and Shaheer announced their engagement in November last year and days later got married in court and later shared the good news with their fans. The news of Richikaa’s pregnancy has been doing the rounds since May but given that the couple likes to keep a low profile, neither of them confirmed the same until now.

Ruchikaa who is the Executive Vice President at Ekta Kapoor's production house Balaji Motion Pictures recently attended a friend’s birthday bash in Mumbai where she could be seen trying to hide baby bump in the pictures.

Asked about his wife’s pregnancy in an interview, the actor had told India Today, “I don't want to say anything about it at this moment. I want to be back in Mumbai as soon as I can. Travelling and shooting in outdoor locations is fun, but at the same time, I want to go back to my home in Mumbai. I should be with my wife at the moment...very important. So I want to go to Mumbai as soon as possible.”
