Sriti Jha's Powerful Poem On Being An Asexual Goes Viral, Reveals How 'It' Was Never On Her Mind & How It Was Her Curse

Actress Sriti Jha penned and read out a poem on asexuality narrating her own tale of discovery. The popular TV actress was at the 2020 Kommune India Spoken Fest narrating her experience of being an asexual and how she been in love but sexual encounters just weren’t for her.

Sriti’s poem titled "Confessions Of An Asexual Romantic" spoke over a personal journey as an asexual and how the world around her just pushed her to try a little harder and diagnosed various issues with her. “I kept falling in love, sometimes better, other times worse, but “it” was never on my mind and that seemed to be my curse,” she says in her poem.

The Kum Kum Bhagya actress through her well thought out piece laid out how she’s not a sex hater and the fundamental difference between love and sex as she sees it.

At a time when the LGBTQ movement still has a long way to go, Sriti Jha certainly wowed many with her bold decision to come out to the world this way. Many who happened to watch the viral poem applauded her for her confidence.
