    Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah's character Roshan Singh Sodhi is known to be fun and a man who's in love with his. The character is now being played by Balwinder Singh Suri but it was popularised by Gurcharan Singh who played the character till 2020. Now, in a recent social media live, Gurucharan Singh revealed how he was in deep debt and that was the reason he turned up in Mumbai.

    In the video, Gurucharan reveals that he was in deep debt. He had borrowed money from several people, who had been after him to recover the money. This is when Gurucharan ran to Mumbai to avoid people and by God's grace, he landed a role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah. After that, there was no turning back.

    He was so loved by the audience that when he decided to leave in 2013, he was called back because audiences wanted to see him. Gurucharan also revealed that he is a spiritual person and believes God is in every being. Well, his story goes on to prove that there would always be a way out if you have hope, and that we should never lose hope at any point.
