Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma’s Rita Reporter Aka Priya Ahuja Embraces Motherhood!

Remember Taarak Mehta’s Rita Reporter? We are talking about Priya Ahuja. The actress had been expecting her first baby. And guess what? Last night, she embraced motherhood and welcomed her bundle of joy.

Priya Ahuja gave birth to a lil’ boy yesterday. Sharing the news on Instagram, the actress wrote that she is ‘overwhelmed with joy’. She shared just the picture of the baby’s feet and wrote, “Our home has grown by two feet! ITS A BOY!! We are overwhelmed with the joy!! Happy to Announce the arrival of our lil angel on 27th November." Check out the post here:

Her husband, Malav Rajda, who is also the director of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, also shared the picture of the baby’s hand and wrote “for all the things my hands have held the best by far is you???.” Here’s the post:

The actress had announced her pregnancy back in August, when she was babymooning with husband Malav in Maldives. Priya also had a maternity photoshoot and had a baby shower that was attended by her co-stars from Tarak Mehta.

Priya and Malav tied the knot back in November 19th, 2011. Congratulations to Priya and Malav on their new journey together!
