The Kapil Sharma Show To Do Away With The Live Audience And Return To TV Soon? Here's What We Know

The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most viewed shows on television and no matter what we are certain every weekend fans must be missing seeing Kapil and his troop entertaining them with new stars each week as guests. While the show remains suspended indefinitely due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, there might be some hope for fans after all.

Reports are doing the rounds that The Kapil Sharma Show might alter its format and go without a live audience. Several talk show hosts in the west have taken to the format and started shooting their shows from home without a live audience and Kapil might pick up the trend too. 

A source close to Bollywood Hungama reports, “Why not? Since the Corona virus struck the world, the most popular talk show hosts of America like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen Degeneres gave adopted a no-audience format. They’re even recording their shows from their homes. Kapil is likely to follow this novel way of beating the Corona.”

The only question that remains since the show has acts and characters how exactly will it be shot or will Kapil go solo on this one?

The comedian is in the meantime spending time at home with his daughter Anayra and in a recent interview told TOI that she has finally started recognizing her since he’s been spending so much time at home. He even joked that his daughter might think he’s jobless.  “Abhi uska mere saath thoda zyada attachment ho gaya hai. Pehle Ginni (wife) ko hi dekh kar hasti thi. Since the past few days, she has started recognising me and even smiles. That feeling is out of the world. She totally justifies her name — Anayra, which means happiness. She smiles like my mother and me. Hum teeno ki aankhein band ho jaati hain haste time. Khoobsurat apni mummy jaisi hai woh, and thank God for that,” he had told the publication.
