    TMKOC Actor Kush Shah Found Positive For Covid-19 Along With 3 Others, Producer Asit Modi Assures Remaining Cast Is Safe

    With growing cases of Covid-19 cases in the country each day, the virus has now struck the sets SAB TV’s popular show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. 4 members of the show’s cast and crew tested psoitive for novel coronavirus and have been quarantined at home.

    Admist those who were infected is actor Kush Shah who plays Goli on the show. The news of emerging cases from TMKOC sets was shared by producer Asit Modi who also assured that all the other cast members are safe.

    Talking to Aaj Tak the producer spoke about the safety guidelines for shoot being followed on sets and said, “According to those (new) guidelines we had to take everyone’s RT-PCR tests on the set. So, we got everyone tested and four people tested Covid-positive. But we had already home-quarantined them as they were showing some symptoms while being tested. We got everyone tested on Friday, April 9. We have been taking precautions during the shoot. If anyone was a little sick, we would ask them not to come to the shoot.”

    As Maharashtra remains one of the worst hit states in the country by the pandemic, shoots for films and TV shows have been halted at the moment by the government. The makers of Tarak Mehta have no plans of moving the shoot of the show outdoors.
