TV Actor Karan Oberoi Arrested On Charges Of Rape And Blackmail!

 TV actor Karan Oberoi has been arrested today in Mumbai. He has been charged with rape and blackmail.

An FIR has been registered in the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai. It is being said that the actor had raped the woman on the pretext of marrying her.

According to the FIR,

"Karan Oberoi not only raped the woman and filmed the act but also demanded money from her threatening to release the video if she did not pay up."

He has been detained and will not be released before 9th May.

Karan Oberoi had become popular as a member of a band called The Band Of Boys, that also had members like actor Sudhanshu Pandey. He became a household name with Mahesh Bhatt’s TV show, Swabhiman. He had also been part of shows like Saaya and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. He was last seen in the web series, Inside Edge.
