TV Actress Kamya Punjabi To Tie The Knot On February 2020 With Boyfriend Shalabh Dang! Read Details…

It was back in September this year that TV actress Kamya Punjabi had revealed that she has found love in her life in Delhi-based healthcare professional, Shalabh Dang. She had also revealed that they are planning to tie the knot as well and the wedding would happen soon. But seems like it would happen sooner that we have thought. The actress has now confirmed that she will get married on February 10, 2020.

Talking to Bombay Times about her wedding date, the excited actress said, ““Honestly, ekdum se (wedding) date aa gayi, which caught me off guard. I would have ideally liked it to happen a few months later, as I wanted to enjoy the feeling of going-to-be-married-soon for a little longer. However, our families, Shalabh and eventually I, too, decided that we didn’t want to wait for that long. Post our reception in Delhi, we will then leave for our honeymoon, jahaan main bikini pehenungi (laughs!). Shalabh and I are yet to zero in on a destination.”

Well, it is quite a co-incident that Kamya had met Shalabh on February this year itself! She has also said that the pre-wedding rituals would take place on 9^th February and the reception would be on 11^th February. There would be another reception in Delhi, that Kamya talked about. She has revealed that she wants the wedding to happen in Mumbai itself!

“Mujhe apne sheher mein hi shaadi karni thi. Besides, it seemed convenient for me, as I would have had to pack and carry a lot of stuff! I am making time for my shopping amid a hectic schedule. I would want us to be colour-coordinated at every function.”

The actress also wants a very private and intimate wedding and her excitement was quite understandable as she said, ““We will get married in a gurudwara, with only family and close friends in attendance. While the shaadi will be a family affair, the other functions will be total dhamaal. I don’t want to stand on a stage greeting the guests and receiving gifts. Mujhe apni shaadi mein naachna hai. So, it will be my kind of party and main paagalon ki tarah naachungi.”

Not just the bride and groom-to-be, but their kids (Kamya’s 10 year old daughter and Shalabh’s 11 year old son) are looking forward to the wedding as well. Kamya further said, “My daughter keeps saying that she wants to stay in Delhi. I am clear that I don’t want either Shalabh or me to compromise on work, so I will shuttle between the two cities. Maybe, after my show ('Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki'), I will go there for a couple of months and then will take up a project that allows me to stay with Shalabh for 15 days a month.”
