TV Stars Sara Khan And Himanshu Soni Test Positive For COVID-19, Both Are Under Home Quarantine

COVID-19 has been on a surge in India, even though the number of cases around the world has gone down. In fact, Raftaar and Dream Girl director Raaj Shaandilyaa had tested positive for the virus. And now, two more TV stars are down with it. We are talking about Sara Khan and Himanshu Soni.

Sara Khan had resumed work just months back and was playing the character of Devi Paulomi in Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein. She took to her social media to announce the news and wrote, "Unfortunately today I have tested positive for coronavirus. Authorities and doctors instructed to quarantine at home. Feeling fine and wishing for the speedy recovery." See her post here:

According to a report in TOI, the actress also said, “I’ve taken a break from shooting for a few days since I was feeling under the weather, but I took the COVID test, it came in positive. I have asymptomatic symptoms. I’d advise everyone who came in close proximity with me to get themselves tested."

TV actor Himanshu Soni, who played the character of Buddha in the serial of the same name, had also tested positive for the virus in August end. Talking to TOI, he revealed, "I had cold and fever for three days. Since I had a loss of smell and taste, which are the early symptoms of COVID-19, I got myself tested. Next day, when I got my reports, it was confirmed that I was COVID-19 positive. Sheetal (Himanshu’s wife) was very worried and I also got scared. Thankfully, everything is under control now. Today, I will be going for an antibody test."

With services resuming and India not being under lockdown anymore, COVID cases are on a rise. We are praying for their speedy recovery.
