Urvashi Dholakia Says As Komolika She Often Wore Outfits Rejected By Other Actresses: It Would Become Quite A Rage

No matter how many sequels Kausatti Zindagii Kay gets on television, there can’t be another Komolika like Urvashi Dholakia who is etched in the memory of fans for swag and style on the show. The most loved baddie on daily soaps, Komolika was a trendsetter with her sarees, blouses and bindis and Urvashi reveals that she has often worn blouses rejected by actresses on other shows and loved how audiences found her picks to be trendy.

The actress in a chat with Spotboye recalled how Nirmala Sood aka ‘Masi’ was the only stylist at Balaji back in the day and once she sent her a collared blouse insisting that Uravshi wears it. While the actress loved the outfit she later learnt another actress on another show refused to wear it. She said, “It was quite funny that back then there were times that what other people rejected I would wear on Kasautii, and it would become quite a rage! That was one of the best things about Kasauti and Komolika to remember!"

Urvashi also revealed that she had also worn Ekta Kapoor’s mom Shobha Kapoor’s blouses on show. She revealed, "There were times when I had even worn Shobha aunty's personal blouses with Komolika's sarees, which she used to wear when she was young. I still remember having to open a few stitches to get into those blouses and she would always tease me about being thinner than me back then! Her blouses too were really smart! One-sided off shouldered blouses which looked quite awesome!".
