Vipul Roy's Wedding With U.S. Based Fiancé Postponed, TV Actor Says They Often Breakdown During Video Calls

F.I.R actor Vipul Roy has revealed that he was ready to tie the knot with his U.S. based girlfriend Melis Atici but the lockdown has effectively put their wedding plans on hold. Their big has now been postponed and his fiancé is now in U.S.A.

In a chat with ETimes the TV actor shared that they were living together in Mumbai for the past few months before Melis flew down to San Francisco to meet her parents and they have been unable to meet ever since.

Talking about their wedding plans Vipul said, “We were planning to finalise the wedding date and venue after she returned from the US in March. In fact, we had already finalised the court marriage date. Her entire family was planning to fly down to India, but unfortunately, the pandemic has changed everything.”

The actor who is definitely missing having her around has revealed that they break down while talking to one another on video chat. “We are regularly in touch through video calls and often, both of us break down. We were together for seven months in Mumbai before she left. Ever since we first met, we have never been apart from each other for so long. Having said that, we have no choice except accepting the situation,” he said.

Vipul had met Melis the owner of an I.T. company during a trip to the U.S. in 2016. The couple was living together in Mumbai with her travelling back to the U.S. frequently for work.
