2.0 Shooting At Steady Pace

The team for the upcoming film ‘2.0’ is currently gathered in Thirukazhukundram, in Kanchipuram district. It is expected that this schedule will last for one week and that Rajinikantha and Amy Jackson will shoot some scenes during this time. The sequel to the 2010 film ‘Enthiran’ is being directed by S. Shankar.

Yesterday, the director revealed through his micro blogging page that 2/3rd of the movie has been completed. It took the filmmakers just 150 days to reach this far. It is also expected that the first look poster for the project will be released in November. With the speed at which the film is progressing, the team will wrap up the shooting in early December.

‘2.0’ stars Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Ramya Krishnan and Kalabhavan Shajohn. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will be playing the lead antagonist, going head to head with megastar Rajinikanth. The project is being produced by Subaskaran Allirajah.

The 2010 film focused on an android named Chitti that had the ability to comprehend and exhibit human emotions. The movie starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the lead heroin.
